Which charging port do I use for my Nexus 6P?

I have an Aukey Quick Charge 2.0 car charger from my previous phone (G4), and I'm wondering which port I should plug my USB C cable into to charge my 6P? Since it doesn't come with Qualcomm Quick Charge, should I use the 2.4A output or the Quick Charge 2.0 output? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I'd go with the 2.4A. The stock charger does 5V/3A.

If you use a proper USB-a to USB-c cable, I'm not sure it matters what port it's plugged into. The charger will only do 2.4A if it detects a qc 2.0 device, right?

The 2.4 port is separate from the QC 2.0 port; it'll do up to 2.4 (old chargers used to do 2.1A) depending on the device on the other end.

Use an app like Ampere to see how much the phone draws. Use the port that lets it draw more, if they're not the same. (The phone may only draw 1.8 Amps, so it wouldn't make any difference - the phone draws what it's designed to draw, regardless of how much the charger can supply. [I use a 30 Amp bench supply to charge my phones, and my Note 3 still draws only 1200mA.])
