which device to get?

I have been waiting and waiting for the Incredible HD(now thunderbolt) but now that it is going to have 4g I am not sure I want to get it if they make you pay extra for it I don't see it being worth it as it is not in my area as of yet and probly won't be for a while. If it is optional I still might be interested we'll see on jan 6th hopefully. Anyway I keep seeing Incredible's for free and am having a hard time passing up on the deal I know it is 6 months old but it is still on par will all the newest phones hardware. I have been looking around and see there is a stronger dev community for incredible over the droid x but wondering what some of the opinions are on here. Incredible for free now-x for 199 or thunderbolt(depending on 4g pricing)

That's the same reason I bought now...

I had the chance to use both the X and DINC, because family members had them. I really liked the interface of Sense. I ended up with the X, just because of the size of the screen. You will enjoy whichever you choose. They are both great phones.

What phone were you using before?

I agree i like sense and also love the huge screen that's reason I've been holding out for thunderbolt oh well we will see thursday think that will help my decision

Expect the Thunderbolt to be $250 on contract, and 4G service will run you at least $25 a month for the smallest tier. If you don't live in an initial 4G launch area, I wouldn't bother, unless you really like the nicer-looking hardware.. Otherwise they're the exact same phone pretty much..

Yeah I live like 40 miles from any 4g service so I would never use it...looks like it between x and inc

The inc is a good phone with a bad battery setup. The X is a great phone (newer/faster) with a great battery.
