I noticed over the last 24 hours Google services was running my battery down much faster than usual. I turned off all syncing of contacts, calendar and GPS. The only thing on is location services.

What else should I check?

I'd like to suggest better battery stats app from xda.. This should give you a more detailed breakdown of the numbers and you might be able to further narrow down the culprit.

Good luck!

How can I figure out what's keeping my phone from going to sleep?

For the last 3 days I've noticed Google services at about 23%-29%

I've tried turning off all app syncing and GPS. The only thing on is location services.

Looking at the included packages in the 2nd screenshot of your op, if you were to go look at all those services in settings>apps>all, the only one that has the represented icon is Google Contacts Sync. I would comb thru your accounts that do any syncing to contacts, making sure there is not an issue there somewhere. Perhaps clear cache and data in Google Contacts Sync or even disable it for a while to see if battery life improves. You have to start troubleshooting somewhere, unless you want try a factory reset.

This one here. The included packages shown. Check them in apps>all and the only one that has that People icon is Google Contacts Sync. That could be your clue.
