Which is better ZVH or ZVJ?

A few days ago, with the help from sfhub and everyone else on the forums, I was able to successfully root my phone and I'm now running gRom on my ZVH Optimus S. Today I saw that there was a Sprint update available for my phone which would update my phone to ZVJ.

So my question is, since I already have a rooted ZVH, should I upgdate to ZVJ and root or is there a way to get ZVJ after having a ZVH rooted?

Also, in yall's opinion what's better, ZVH or ZVJ?

ZVH is riddled with bugs. ZVJ fixes most of them.

ZVJ has no known exploit but can be rooted using a backdoor hack. Make sure to follow the directions to the letter.

Don't do sprint update use this --- link --- run option B. it will upgrade you to zvj, root it, and install xionia. If i posted this too late then you aren't rooted any more, but if you downgrade --- here --- and then run option A then option B. either way need to have root to run option B. both links thanks to sfhub.

I see this question asked fairly often in regards to roms,kernels and whether 2.2,2.3 or 2.3.3 etc and the best I can tell is it ultimately comes down to personal choice. My 2? says play around with where your at til your good an comfortable an bored with flashing applicable roms and recoveries then try the update.

ZVD, only because CM7.2 and CM9 are both ZVD.

There's a limit to the amount of stickies a device forum can have. You'd have to ask a moderator but I think it's 5.

ZVJ seems to be better than ZVH at this point. ZVH has bugs... and is somewhat quirky.

Honestly it doesnt matter if your going to put custom roms on anyway. the only difference is the stock rom/kernel

Zvj because it also works with zvh roms and you can flash hydro kernel

It makes no difference, as the custom ROMS's and kernels will fix most stock bugs.

Figure out what ROM you would like, and go to that baseband.

Radio is radio is radio. Your phone (modem wise at least) will work the same on all basebands.

ReBorn/CM7/CM9/MIUI (CM9 based) - ZVD

HydroROM - ZVH (will also work on ZVJ)

GingerROM (and most likely the new Sense ports) - ZVJ

Well I decided to just stay on ZVH but switched over to HydroRom and it rules! Very pleased with it.
