**Looking for a nice case for my Incredible, I have been using a "ebay" nexus one android sleeve and for the second time now Ive dropped it getting out of the car right on very minimal area slightly exposed.
Was first sold on getting the Seidio Innocase Active but multiple people are complaining about the rubberized material on the hard part peeling after a couple days to a week, so now leaning towards the otterbox but curious if the back is slightly grippy or smooth? I want slightly grippy.. any reviews or opinions?? THANKS!!!

Can't comment about the other two since I have not used them, but I think the Seidio Innocase Active case is great.

Does add a bit of weight to the phone but it is a solid case that offers good protection. I use one and got one for my Son's Dinc as well.

yeah i would jump all over a innocase active in a dark charcoal or darker silver to give a classy accent. The white innocase active looks pretty sweet but several people said it gets dirty easily and turns a yellowish color, but they loved it when it was new

I bought the Siedio Innocase Active case and love it. Makes the phone feel more rugged and does a good job of not only protecting the phone but the camera lens as well. Best case yet! Got mine in blue.

Do any of those cases protrude on the sides on the front? I ask cause I have a leather case now and since the case is thick, where it meets the screen, it becomes difficult to type in portrait mode. It is difficult to touch the edge of the screen with the case I have and I wanted to know if it was the same with any of those cases.

I pre ordered my innocase active color black,I must of been one of the first people to get that case. I had that issue with peeling I had to send it back to seidio, I have been using the replacement ever since and it doesnt have that problem anymore

I have the jelly silicone but ordered the casemate barely there.
Cases can't do this phone justice and after the Nightmare people had with Seidio regarding the Dinc's original case, you won't see me with them for a long time.

I need a case that has a clip on it ,don't always want to put in my pocket. Those dont have clips , the otterbox defender(yeah I know that one wasnt listed in the list) one might but it might make the phone to big.I still have a temporary case but a clip is a must,,,,, or at least a kickstand , lol

I have the Speck case and it offers the same protection as the active case. It is totally rubber coated on the inside, to add a little inulation protection from falls, and sleek black on the outside with a few red accents. It is a nice looking case that offers maximum protection. The price, through VZW, is pretty good too. About $11 cheaper than ordering straight from the manufacturer.

I got a brand new one from Verizon, after corporate discount, for $22 with free shipping. I think the extra $2 is worth it for new and next day shipping.

Yeah Im leaning towards the otterbox, question though is the hard back layer a smooth plastic or a rubberized texture?? Also does the ridge on the face affect typing? The casemate looks like it does

I have the Innocase active in the Sage(green) color. Its the best case I've ever had. It gives the Incr added(needed) weight and makes it more solid in my opinion. It looks sexy as all get out and most importantly it protects the device very well. I'm ordering another one in blue. The Incredible is way too caliente for basic black imo

I have the commuter and really like it....I had the hard silicone case from verizon before, but like this much better....it adds more bulk to the phone that the verizon case did, but its worth it to have the rubber inner padding and hard shell outer. for protection. To answer your question there is a "grained" type pattern in the hard plastic outer shell, however it is slick and not "Rubber like". it slides in and out of my pocket very well.

I can not comment on the other cases, but I will probably order my wife the innocase active because I can get it in purple or whatever....of course, I have to order her phone first though.

Thanks for all the replies!!, I stopped being obsessive with my case search and ordered the innocase active in "black" (wanted dark grey but they dont make for the active). Got it for $24 with free 2 day shipping on Amazon because I have free amazon prime for a year. Chose the Innocase active because I wanted something with a grippy feel similar to the OE back, otherwise wouldve went with the otterbox for overall look.
