I always thought that Swype was incorporated into the Samsung Keyboard (which it is), but I never noticed that there is a totally different keyboard named Swype as well. I've always used Samsung keyboard, but their next word prediction SUCKS, and I just tried Swype for the first time ever for a few texts and their stuff was on point! Just wondering which one is ya'll favorite keyboard?

I did Swype and did not care for the manner used to add and remove entries in the dictionary. Ended up with SlideIT.

SwiftKey is by far the best keyboard out there. Their prediction engine is incredible. It doesn't currently have the swype style features where you slide your finger over the letters but they have this option in the works. It should be coming out soon.

You can try it for 30 days for free. One thing I do is switch the default style to the light style as I like it better and find it easier to type on. I also enable the arrow keys on the bottom so I can move my selection around when I need to.

Seriously? You may be beyond help then. Your keyboard is the one thing you use more than any other app. $4 is a small price to pay for something that can save you thousands of key strokes.

You could also try the Go keyboard. It's showing some promise.

I've been using Swype beta since ICS and now that JB incorporated it, I've realized that its just not working out. I dont swype really but precisely type fast and when I hit the space bar, I always hit the damn period so my.messages.always.look.like.this!! Its quite annoying when I have to go back and press on the spaces to delete the periods! So I bit the bullet 3 days ago and tried out swiftkey 3 trial. I see what all the hoopla is about. This keyboard is NICE!! Do you guys/gals know when it goes on sale? Is it weekly, monthly, or just a random thing? I'll keep a look out I suppose. I'm too cheap like Joe to pay $4 for it! lol!

I've been using Swype for a couple of years now on different phones. I have Swype Beta on my phone now and while it's not perfect, I still love it.

Fyi swiftkey3 is on sale today for half price.

It only gets better. It is almost magical in its prediction engine. Plus they are adding a Swype style feature soon.

Swiftkey is. But, at various times, it's been on sale for $1.99.

Love Swiftkey. I was lucky... The very first time I went to the Amazon APP Store It was free (Paid version). Alas, When 3 came out I had to pay to upgrade and was more than glad to.
