Which modem should I have?

No matter what modem you have, you must do the PRL update with vzw. They just released another one. I am on ec09 and the wife is on ed04 modem, but we both started having spotty coverage, so Idid a *228>2 and both our services are much better.

First off I am new to this so I have read through the threads and still have a couple of questions, First off, I am using a Samsung Fascinate with ED05, and this phone has not been rooted yet, still trying to learn. My questions are, can I flash this phone from ED05 to EC09 and if so how? I did read though tutorial for rom flashes and downloaded ODIN and CWM-recovery-3-30-All-Fix. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are just wanting to switch to the EC09 modem, simply flash this file using the PDA button in ODIN:
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

If you are wanting to go to the full EC09 leaked ROM, follow the instructions in this thread, but pay attention to the warnings about the EC09 ROM borking SD cards. This thread also contains the detailed instructions on how to flash anything in ODIN:

And the CWM-recovery-3-30-All-fix is outdated. You should flash this CWM 3, also in the PDA section of ODIN:
