Which Nokia N1 Tablet should I buy

Hi all, hope you can give me some advice.
i have decided I want the Nokia N1 and I can buy from either China or Taiwan. The China version does not have google play service installed but the Taiwan version does.
The China version however is $60 cheaper.

I of course want google play but wondering if it would be just as easy to install it on the China (cheaper) version once I get it to North America.

Thoughts and / or tips?

You might be able to root it, I would just spend the extra $60 to avoid the hassle.
