Which one is easier to root: samsung epic 4g or samsung moment

so i used to own, unfortunately, a samsung moment and around 1 year into my contract, i rooted it and it was pretty seemless (probably from the video walkthrough i saw). but i have tried to root the epic 4g but it seems harder and also seems to be of a different method. Your thoughts on this?

Note: in case you're wondering, i got the samsung epic 4g pretty much halfway through my contract because i couldn't handle how slow the samsung moment was.
