I am with tmobile and they state you need to sign up with an extra line for 3 months and could take 2 months to get the rebate!.

That is normal with any BOGO deal / rebate. They usually take 60-90 days to get the card. Also with any deal that sounds amazing you should always read the fine print. For the S7 Edge BOGO I just had my friend join my account for that 3 month period. We got the card, paid it off / unlocked the phone, and he went back to cricket.

I believe that Samsung is going to announce a new Gear VR the same time as the Note 7 and that more than likely would be the bonus item.

Who here has typed "Note 7" into Google more than 20 times over the past week?

I'd choose package #2 since I already have a smart watch (and am happy with it). (That being said the phone in #1 - black color is more appealing to me than the blue one in #2).

I'll go for #2. I'm fine with my existing watch, non-smart watch. VR would be relatively new to me, so I'll take that freebie instead.
