I just got the xperia x10 last night. Although it has 1.6 I really like it. I know I can manually install 2.1 but I'm really scared to brick my phone. Yes I'm a big chicken.

It's seems hard, but it's not and of usually fixable.

Use your phone for a couple of weeks and get comfortable with out, then step into that stuff.
