Ok my gf has a thunderbolt and is crapping out on her. She wants to look at the rezound, nexus, and razr but wants to know the pros and cons of each. I have made a small list of what I think bit she's looking for some more input. Any help would be appreciated.

Nexus: 4.65" 720P HD screen, crappy camera, slimmer phone, ICS, no microsd card, removable battery
Rezound: 4.3" 720P HD screen, better camera, thicker but feels good in hand, 16gb microsd card included, removable battery, beats headset included
Razr: 4.3" qHD screen, better battery life (Maxx), slim but wide phone, non-removable battery, microsd card slot

I looked at those 3 as well but ultimately went with the GNex.
Camera was improved with 4.0.4 and the fact it's a Nexus running stock Android was a big selling point in my opinion.

Rumor has it the SGS3 might have stock Android as well, so you might want to wait for that one as if it does it'll be the best of all worlds IMO.

HTC Rhyme: Purple, has light up notification trinket/charm that instantly appeals to women upon first sight. HTC maketing gurus know exactly what a women needs on her phone, How could they be wrong. Just wanted to throw that masterpiece of feminine design in the mix..........as a joke, of course. Rezound all the way, everyday!!!

Depends how tech savy they are. The problem(s) with the Nexus, is it's necessary to root & use custom roms to get basic features to work. Even then, you'll most likely get frustrated. ICS for the Razr & Rezound isn't too far off at this point, so that shouldn't sway your decision.

My wife has the Rezound & it's a solid device. Some complain it's bulky, but I think it fits nicely in one's hand.

Features like what?
Everything I see people doing with custom ROMs I currently can also do with Apps (often paid version required).

So the way I see it is if you want to do things for free, sure use a custom ROM.
I personally have no problem paying for Apps (nor do I have a problem with people wanting their functionality for free), I just have yet to find a ROM that offers me features I'm unable to get through an App.

2 features I'm looking for currently are:
1) Edit the Apps in the "Share" option (remove the ones I'd never use to "Share")
2) Clear the "Frequently Called" list
If a ROM exists for the GNex that's as stable as stock ICS 4.0.4 and includes those features, I might be convinced to use a ROM. Until then though, it has no appeal to me.

I considered all three and chose the rezound for many reasons.

Gnex has problems or at least annoyances that I don't believe will ever be fixed. Plus it's huge.

Razr is a close second, but feels HORRIBLE in the hand and you would have to get the max because you will not want a small removable battery. The width of the phone os unforgivable in my eyes. It just feels terrible.

The rezound has a higher ppi screen with more natural colors, removable battery, sd, feels great in hand, great signal, and completely bug free at least till ics.

Like many I considered all 3 as well. I picked the Rezound... The Razr was too wide, the battery was not changeable (Maxx deals with that with bigger, battery), screen was not as good, but I have to admit Moto has great build quality . Gnex was just disappointing... It doesn't have micro SD, screen isn't as good, but for me the the biggest issue was poor build quality. For me I like the Rezound.. It has the best screen, good build quality, has micro SD and removable battery, is unlockable and rootable and customizable.. I am running CleanROM 4.3 Pro and am OC and it runs very smooth and fast.

well she's pretty tech savvy...mainly because of me... She's not interested in rooting she just wants a phone that ultimately works and she HATES iPhones haha (my fault), but thanks for all the input guys.

What is her main focus...phone calls or features? The GNex reception issues and poor call quality put it at the bottom of the list for me.

I love this question because it is becoming such a personal question so I usually go witha few standard that be be a make or break it.

Is it comfortablle/practical for your every day use
Do you use basic functions, phone, internet and not much else.
Do you do a lot of streaming.

Those three questions will typically allow you to focus on what is important and what is not.
