Which ROM

Howdy all. I am Jeff and new to the android scene. In the two to three months before my new every 2 came due I have gone from wanting the Nexus One to Incredible to now pre-ordering the Droid X. I have researched a lot about the OS and apps and rooting.

I get the rooting and ROM stuff but my question is this: How can I know who has the "best" ROM? Or How can I figure out which one has the "features" I want? What are some must have features?

Damage Control, Bugless beast, rodigezstyle, Cyanogen. Lots of developers out there.....

your best bet is trial by error. you can read up each devs rom description and see what you think and also read up on the reviews and feedback about the roms. it all comes down to personal preference and also some phones work better with certain roms.

due to it is hard to really respond to this thread im going to close it. i recomend going to the hacking/rom section for the phone you are interested in this forum. a lot of the members are willing to help out and give advice but try to search before creating a new thread if you do. duplicated threads aren't my favorite thing in the world haha. i would rather not have to merge a thread if i dont have to.
