Why Verizon specifically? Aren't they all pretty much the same? What features does Verizon have that we don't, I other than the 4G LTE? It's not available in my area as of yet. Does this mean they are gonna delay the jelly bean release?

Apple doesn't have jurisdiction over what happens in other countries, the most they can do is take Samsung to court and because its overseas they almost always lose.

Because Samsung doesn't officially sell the international version in the US. It all depends on where the lawsuit is filed.

The local/universal search removal was not because of the lawsuit (supposedly). Samsung said it was a glitch that destroyed its functionality and it will be repaired asap.
