Which Samsung Tablet to run Android 6 ONLY?

Hi,

As a part of some device testing at work, I need to test an application on a Galaxy tablet running Android 7 and Android 6. The clients sales team all have Samsung tablets and this application is an internal app which supports their work in the field.

Device split with the sales team is 370 advisors running Nougat and 450 running Marshmallow, so we _have_ to test both OS's

We don't have these devices at the moment, so I am going to get a SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A 10.1" Tablet for 7, but I am struggling to find a Galaxy tablet to buy which runs 6 and will only EVER run 6 (so no auto upgrade)

Can anyone help me find a Samsung Tablet which runs Android Marshmallow and will not get upgraded to Nougat?

Welcome.

Are these mobile-data-enabled tablets, and if so, are you using a carrier who has set the device to auto-upgrade the OS? Otherwise, you do not have to accept such upgrades when notified about them.

Doesnt matter for our usage here in the office, they will be connected to the wifi here and not removed from the building.

I figured that Samsung would not be upgrading ALL of their tablets to run 7 - I have an old Galaxy Tab here which will not upgrade past 5.1.1, but none of the sales agents use tablets this old and the bugs which have been found on the sales agents tablets are not present on our current 5.1.1 Android Tab

This is why we are buying a new devices - one which we know definitely runs 7 (the Tab A 10.1) but I need a device that will only ever run 6
