Which Tab to go with 8.9 or tab 2 7.0?

I am looking to buy a smaller tab as I have the 10.1 currently. I am not sure if I should go with the 8.9 since it has a larger screen than the 7 but is not running ICS yet. Also, I am thinking that the 7 should get JB. The price is not much difference buying it used. Spec wise not much difference. Thoughts?

The Tab 2 series is more budget and less high-end. I'd go with the 8.9. I think the size and form factor of the 8.9 are superior to any 7" tablet as well.

Yes, but the Nexus 7 doesn't have a sd slot. As a camper away from wifi, I really need that slot!
