Which Task Manager?

What's the name of the task manager used on 2.2 on the Fascinate and comes stock on the VZW Galaxy Tab? Some people don't like TMs but I do and can't remember the name of it.

You dont need a task manager for 2.2, it automatically handles tasks. If you think you need one, its called "advanced task killer"

Advanced Task Manager would be better. ATK just automatically kills the apps/processes you specify. ATM you go into and tell it what to kill. If you dont know what you are doing ATK can cause more problems than it solves because it kills tasks that are needed by the system or widgets. The best thing I ever did for battery life (othe than upgrade to Froyo) was to junk ATK.

As SUB-Dawg said, you don't need a task manager with Froyo since Google designed the system to kill unnecessary tasks that are actually wasting memory (HINT: just because the process is running does not mean that it is actually consuming more than a bare minimum of resources, and some of those processes are more important than you might think they are)

The task manager you see on the Fascinate and Tab is something proprietary (specific) to Samsung, but IS nice because it only lists the processes you yourself start not those that the system has running in the background.
