I was drawing on samsung notes on my Note 8 normally and after pressing on some button, or some order of buttons, my note/drawing completely disappeared. The only thing i remember pressing is the undo button. I also desperately searched online for a solution/reason/location where notes are stored and found no answers before i finally resorted to making an account and posting here.

If anyone could help me out i would be eternally grateful.

Hopefully a Samsung person can chime in.

I just wanted to say -- Always save your work as you go. Especially something that long. This goes on a phone or PC or anything... you never know what could happen!

If you didn't save the note, it was in RAM, and there's no way to get it back. As Almeuit said, save your work periodically from now on (like every 5 minutes).

REALLY sorry to hear. I know your frustration. back when there were only 5 1/4" dual floppies and no HDs at all, I wrote an entire university paper on a new pc my roommate had built. with no knowledge, like you, when I was finished I asked my roommate to save it for me. guess what he did??? he hit delete instead of save.

from that moment forward I have been obsessive about backups and backups of backups. when my server died recently it saved me. I do three backups normally for all my important stuff so I never lose all of it again.
