While playing music, I get a text message via SMS and..

the music stops playing and I want to go back to it it doesn't even keep the place I was at. It just resets the file and I have to start from the begining. Why is that? Shouldn't it pause it and then play it when the ring has been done? Like with a phone call you pause the music take the call and when its done it resumes? If HTC Sense player doesn't do this is there a paid or free alternative?

This is very strange indeed because my phone doesn't stop the music at all when I get an sms. The sms notifiation sound comes through while the music is still playng. Now when I get a call it pauses the music and then resumes where I left off after the call.
