So after the Android 12 update I had a white bar in the middle of the bottom of the screen I'm guessing to indicate the general location to swipe up for gestures this morning I turn on my phone the bar is gone without me changing any settings weird

Can you show us a screenshot? Does it come back after a reboot?

I didn't think the screenshot it it when it was around I didn't think much of it but now that it's gone it's noticeable a reboot didn't bring it back it's no big deal I was actually curious about screen burn-in anyway

It's strange because the bar is certainly still there on my 6 Pro. You've looked in various apps as well? Just wondering if something about the color of your wallpaper might be making it hard to see the bar.

I had that bar on my 5a with Android 11 and Android 12. I'm using Gesture Navigation.

You can check your settings by:
Settings > System > Gestures > System Navigation

You can check your settings by:
Settings > System > Gestures > System Navigation
Nothing there i seen to enable or disable the bar

Sequence is:

Settings > System > Gestures > System Navigation > Gesture Navigation

If Gesture Navigation is enabled you should get the small white bar at the center/bottom of your screen.

I believe what the OP is saying is that even with gesture navigation on, that small white bar is no longer at the bottom of the screen, which is unusual.

That's what i mean, gestures you cant turn that on or off the bar

I use and love gesture navigation and I wish I could get rid of that small white bar.

You're correct this morning was the first I noticed the bar missing without any input or changes to settings from me I still use gestures but the bar is now gone
