No, Iv'e watched and read reviews for the S8 version and decided I'd try it out on the Note 8.

Thanks OP, just pulled the trigger. I have 1 on my S8+ and nothing else I tried comes close. Starting with what I know works 1st.

These are after the 1st curing. Any glue residue you see wiped clean with supplied alcohol wipe before 2nd curing.

Does the surface have to be 100% level? It appears every surface in our flat is at least a degree off.

Yes the surface needs to be level for best results, if it's not level the glue can spill off the sides when you install it. I used a small pocket bubble level and slid a credit card under the tray to level it.
