Is there any way to force the Moto X onto 3G/HSPA only? That option is on my Nexus with kit Kat, but the X has only two choices...auto and 2G. I have aio and am throttled to 8mbps download speeds, so I usually just turn the LTE radio off to conserve battery since I can't truly make use of it anyway. Thanks all.

Hmm, if your LTE radio is turned off, wouldn't the handset be using any available 3G or HSPA spectrums on auto already or is the LTE radio automatically tied to the Automatic option?

Sorry if it's no help but I haven't really tapped into the Moto X's settings with the little time I got to use one.

Well you could be right, but "2G only" sure seems pretty unequivocal to me. As in, it's either 4G/LTE or Edge. The speeds on that setting seem to bear that out, too, based on my limited experimentation.
