I haven't yet. I have an otterbox on it though because it's going to happen someday with how thin and slick the phone is.

I got a Defender, but I'm returning it. Nice case, but it's wicked bulky, and I hate the built-in screen protector. (Not to even mention how idiotically huge it is when you try to use the belt clip...can anyone other than a race of ancient giants use that thing???)

I was going to use it just for when I run (in the event that the phone flies out of my hand), but it's way too much trouble to get on and off the phone.

Get an Acase. Not as bulky as the defender but has the good protection of a dual layer case.

I would usually be part of the group that don't drop their devices....ever. But I dropped mine twice..on carpet though while sitting down. No biggie.

My Flip Cover is starting to get dirty and deteriorate so I will most likely buy a new case and screen protector.

I haven't dropped mine yet. I had mine a month.

I dropped mine on to concrete the 3rd day I own it. I always keep it in my shirt pocket and when I have to bend down ( I work at a auto repair place ) it tends to slide out and hit the ground. I have a few very fine scratches on the corners ( the phone was butt naked at the time ) but nothing more. I'm still pretty bummed out about it.

Try the Seidio Active. Stylish and 2 part protection with a belt holster. Save my but the first day i for the case, thats when i had my 1st drop. doesnt add much bulk and its also raised a bit so i can put it screen down without touching the screen on my desk.

Was gonna post this as well...I had an Active case for my Thunderbolt that I really liked, so I got one for the S3 as well and I really like it.

They even have one with a builtin kickstand (but I can't comment on that, because I don't own that one).

I've been lucky so far with my S3 as far as drops go (keeps fingers crossed), but I do know that while it was naked I seemed quite slick at times, so I was glad to get the case on it...even if it isn't as pretty and has a bit more bulk added to it. I feel much safer using it now.

I use to be a big fan of otterbox cases. But I can't stand the sideways holster for the S3.
The holster for the Nexus was a vertical holster but had a cheap plastic clip that held case in the holster mine broke in no time. The clip for that holster need to be on a spring loaded hidge instead of just a plastic tab that just flexes.
Otterbox does have great CS,, they sent me another one totally free a complete case and holster.I haven't even opened it tho its in my sock drawer still in the package box.

I was hesitant to post in this threat because I don't want to jinx it but I've had pretty good luck to not drop mine either. I don't have it in a case because I've tried a couple of them and non really do it for me. Either too much bulk, or it's slippery or just feels weird in the hand. Hope I can remain lucky.
