Who else is getting their DX shipped on August 3rd?

I am on hold for the Droid X but I am thinking of going to the Incredible. Alot of people that I have seen on forums just like Sense UI better then Motos for some reason.
I played with both phone and although I liked the Sense UI, the big screen and fast processor sold me on the DX.
Don't forget battery life. The Droid X has longer battery life due to the Texas Instruments chip being slightly more efficient...despite the larger screen.
Also - I have over the years been impressed with Motorolla devices. And while I'm sure the device is made in China (isn't everything these days?) the company is from here. Like Apple - Motorolla is a home grown US company. I like that. And to have a Texas Instruments designed chip running the show makes it even better!
But really...that screen is wonderful!

Looks like I'm getting it early!
I ordered mine on the 19th and VZW said it would ship on the 3rd of August. Today, however, (July 23) i got an email update from Verizon saying that my phone has been shipped! Lucky me! I can't wait, I'm so excited. This is my first Android phone, upgrading from BlackBerry Storm.

Count me in. I'm stuck with the flippin' iPhone 4 and expect this to be a REALLY long couple weeks. Hey, at least I got my order in for a free bumper! 
I ordered on the 21st and also got a shipment email today, but I'm thinking it might just be the docking accessory that I ordered with the phone. So I'm not getting my hopes up, but hope to be pleasantly surprised.
Lucky You! Well, the sales rep at the corp. store we went to said they have been seeing some DX getting shipped earlier. SO I am hoping I will be one of those....

If it says the weight of the package is 1lb then it should be your phone.
I got a DX, carbon fiber case, and screen protectors and it was 1lb.
Yep! But what's weird is that it says that estimated delivery will be between 7/27 - 7//29, originating in Oxnard, CA, which is two hours from my home. It really should be here tomorrow I would think. I ordered a set of golf clubs this week from Kansas and they got here quicker than that! I really hope it comes in tomorrow. Verizon usually ships phones out very fast.
i ordered on the 20th and my phone was shipped yesterday (22nd) and its here today. the 3 aug date is probably there for cya purposes. very excited.
I am trying to find ways to preoccupy myself so I am not thinking about the DX....like going to this forum or reading a book...

I'm not getting a Droid X because I'm stuck on Sprint, but I took a look at it and it was actually a lot lighter and thinner than I previously thought. This phone must be awesome! I wish I could have tried it out longer.
LOL I think that coming to this forum is the worst way to forget about the Droid X. Just makes me want it more!
