who keeps waking up the GPS

So out of the blue, I can see the gps getting woken up for a few seconds, I have no apps that use the gps running that I know of. I can be checking email, browsing a site, whatever... the icon pops up in the notification bar.

Is there anyway to track which app is trying to get a location or use the gps? Thanks.

The power usage for any given app shows GPS time, you just have to hunt through and find it. If you use Latitude or google+ those are obvious candidates, or any weather app could be doing a location check.

Many mobile versions of websites (google for example) collect GPS data to give you local information. It would most likely be this (since you mentioned it happening while browsing) or a weather app refreshing its data with geolocation.
