Okay what's going on?
There's no significant innovations and yet site after site makes it seem as if every day the latest gimmicks are the next best thing.

It doesn't matter if you're reading tech crunch, gizmodo, CNET, or any place in between. It send like these guys are just being paid by the companies to hype up the products under the guise of news.

And most of them are either unaware (or pretending to be) of the exploding move towards buying unlocked phones off-contract.

You guys are depressing.

Repetitive, repetitive...tsk tsk tsk.

Dullards..all of ya... in the manner if Joel Stein. Dullards!!!!

Not sure why you're directing this post at Android Central. I don't write any of the news articles, but I read them, and I think they present a very level-headed and balanced look at the new tech that's coming out. The AC news articles are almost always light on hype, and in fact many of the rumors that fly around other sites don't get reported here until there's more solid information available.

I think Android is a pretty mature platform now, so it's been more of an evolution lately rather than quantum leaps--but in my opinion, that's good, because Jellybean has been a pretty damn good version of Android. If you want more quantum leaps, then be prepared for debacles along the lines of iOS7.
