WhoIsIt Lite 1.1. isn't recognizing customized ringtones

I've just installed WhoIsIt Lite to demo the product prior to purchasing full version. Custom phone ringtones work fine but setting custom ringtones for K-9 and SMS aren't working.

I wonder if anyone has encountered this issue? Have I missed a thread that addresses this?

The "Default K-9 Ringtone," set under "K-9 Preferences," seems to override custom ringtones set for individual contacts.

The "Default SMS ringtone," set under "SMS Preferences" seems to override custom ringtones set for individual contacts.

I've verified that WhoIsIt Lite is checked off under Home/Settings/Accessibility
I've verified that "Manage K-9" is checked under K-9 Preferences
I've verified that "Manage SMS" is checked under SMS Prefrences.

What am I missing?

Issue resolved

The error was in my thinking. There is no issue. (I was confusing the role of my contact record. It would be challenging and somewhat embarrassing to fully explain the wrinkle in my logic. My apologies. ~M
