Hey everyone! Need a little help. I recently bricked my moment, because I was trying to reflash DJ07. Well.... Sprint sent me a new one, that already has DJ07 installed. As I was trying to find a ROM that I like.... I made a bit of a whoopsie. I somehow didn't notice that I was installing a ROM for another device... for the Intercept. Well.... trying to reboot after this install sent my phone into I guess what is called a bootloop, I'm assuming. I've seen the term, but never knew what it was. My phone is just going from the boot logo, to a black screen with a white line, back to the boot logo, sometimes a black screen with a blueish box at the bottom comes up, but right back to the boot logo. Assume this is a bootloop.... but don't know. Anyway.... my actual question is this. Is there EVER a time that a factory reset will ruin your phone? Reason being... all advice I've gotten says to reflash to stock.... but I am scared to death to try to reflash now. And since my phone had DJ07 on it when I received it.... shouldn't it pretty much be the same thing to do a factory reset, as to reflash?? I'm not sure about this.... just seems logical to me. But.... can't get a for sure answer on this. Will it mess up my phone if I reset to factory?? I don't have anything on there to lose.... except of course, the use of my phone. lol So.... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A factory reset just erases your apps and settings. "Reflashing" overwrites everything, even system files. You need to flash the stock software to fix this problem.
