I know I will be, I just traded my BlackBerry Q10 for this Nexus 4. It was brand new in box, not even open. Debating leaving it vanilla or loading Paranoid Android

Why not? Its a free communication platform that'll easily surpass anything to date. Everyone loves the BBM emoticons and the "D" & "R"

I loved BBM too, back when I had my Tour 9630. If enough people I know start using it, I'm not against it -- I just don't see that happening.

I certainly will as just moved to Nexus from BlackBerry Bold and miss BBM
- a lot of friends still use BlackBerry.

Really can't see why BlackBerry are doing this?

Does it make the company more salable?

I read here in the UK that they about to lay-off 4500 people which is terrible news.

I just use KIK messenger. It tells you when it's been delivered and read and it's well known.

He didn't. The CrackBerry community pulled together a fundraiser to purchase him a brand new Q10 to help with bringing and testing new leaked operating systems about two months ago.

Yeah. Here's to hoping, the Android runtime gets updated to 4.2, in the next update for BB10.

BB10.2 will have android 4.2.2 in it. Its pretty awesome. Sad part is that its pretty heavily locked down. Though one can hope more developers port their droid apps

With the sale of the entire company, BBM has been put on hold indefinitely. I doubt it will ever get released.
