Who's excited for Google Home?

I want one!

I like the design. I wasn't concerned about the features, but I was concerned that it wouldn't look nice. The design looks good, and it's something I could put in my living room that would enhance the decor, not look ugly.

Not signing up for the alerts, but I'm intrigued. I'm going to read the privacy policy and read some reviews before deciding one way or another.

I am really looking forward to this. I liked the idea of the Amazon Echo but wanted something integrated with Google. Now that I know it will work with Android TV and Googlecast speakers I am sold.

I am looking forward to getting one, also signed up for email updates.

I like my echo and recently acquired 2 dots and they do a lot of what I want, but I still want this. If it'll integrate easily into my smart home, I might dump Alexa, or keep her if they play nice. I just like new gadgets and tech in general but this is just plain cool.

I think this is a good idea for Google. Not sure if I'm on board, but I still like the idea.

It depends on sound quality and price...it can not sound worse than my echo...and I wouldn't get it if its $200...and I'm pretty sure that's about where it will be priced at. I don't have anything I really need to be secretive about....but having it read emails out loud would be a bit much. The echo is about the middle ground for me. It reads my families calendar and that's as deep as I want to go into privacy.

I also don't expect it to be as integrated into iot stuff.

I think if you already have an Echo, it will be hard to justify getting this device. Price point will be a factor, but I think you're right in how much the retail price is.

I develop assistive technologies for people with physical disabilities, I'm excited for this, we hit walls with Alexa all the time but Home seems much more conversational. Can't wait for fall now.

I plan on buying one; pending good reviews, price and audio quality.

I started with an Echo in my living room. One week later I bought another one for my bedroom. I got them on sale for about $150. It's a fun and useful device.

I now want a smart speaker in my garage and one in my master bathroom.

I will wait until the Google Home is out before I buy another Echo. Unless I can pick one up for under $100.

Interested in this when it becomes available to the General Public. Been looking from something like this from google for a while.

Should be soon right? I mean big release of Nougat is close. Really gonna blow my gadget budget if this, and the rumored Watches hit.

I've been waiting patiently for Amazon echo but now the rumor has it will be launched in UK mid September I'm thinking of waiting for Home. I'd like to be able to use voice commands to control my music library which is held in iTunes but also uploaded to play music. Hoping that I can just say. "play xxx" which as I understand won't happen with echo and play music/iTunes.

I signed up for email alerts for Google Home. I am looking forward to this and hope that they sell it for a decent price.
