Considering it. I have flip 4. Waiting to see trade in value. But i'll wait for the hands on reviews first. Main issue will be the outer display and screen crease.

ME!! I actually went without upgrading last year for the first time. I always get the latest each year. But, I went straight to Samsung and got $700 trade in value for my Flip 3 and a free upgrade to 512 gigs. My total price, including tax, was just $330. Youwza! I bought the lavendar, coming August 11.

Got my pre-order in. With $900 trade, plus Military program discount, plus Samsung rewards points, I am about $27 out of pocket after taxes. Looked like too good a deal to pass up.
Wow. Did you have the Flip 4? I thought I was getting a great trade in value at $700, but I still have a Flip 3.

As stated above, I am also trading in my Flip 4 for the $900. It was silly not to. Originally I wasn't going to because I liked the smaller front screen. Less real estate to get scratched or damaged but then I didn't really use it much except to check for notifications or to hang up on phone calls I didn't want. With this larger and more functional front screen I am hoping to use it more. I am also getting a front screen protector to help with the scratch issues that may arise.

Yep $900 trade in for Flip 4 was too good to pass up. Flip 5 only cost me $54. I still prefer the Moto's bit larger outer display. But everything else about the flip 5 is better IMO. Was going to get the blue or green. But I'm not going to wait until Sept. So I got the graphite.

It wasn't hard to Flip the 4 for the 5 when given $900 trade .
I may be a bit of a broken record, but it's such a shame they don't love us all like they do the US. My Flip 4 trades for £320 (they offer 420, but they will give 100 with no trade) and the base Flip 5 is £1050...

I'm strongly considering this with my Flip 3 😁

Ah, here folks are!! I was posting in a different place.

Traded in my Note 20 for Flip 5, in Mint. Trade-in values were good this time around. $400 for the Note. Of course if my Flip 4 was not broken, would have gotten $900! Oh well, is what it is. I was hoping to not spend more than $300 overall. I came in under that but the taxes took me over a little. Freebie value was a bit pathetic this time around. I just got a case with that. Looking forward to getting it. Currently says 8/11 delivery. Will see if that holds.

Did everyone else see the field during check-out where you could check/uncheck signature required? I've never seen that before. Is unchecked by default. Let's see if it actually works!!

Update. I didn't think it would be available right away from my carrier (Xfinity Mobile), but it was, so I cancelled my Samsung order. I am getting the same phone (lavendar, 512 gbs), but, to get the great price with the trade in, I have to pay for it over 24 months instead of buying it outright, like I always did before. Sooo, I have to pay a whole 8 dollars and 33 cents each month ($200 in all) along with my phone bill, which will now be, in total, including all charges plus insurance plus the monthly charge for the new phone...$40.83. So, I'm happy.
BUT, now a phone (my Flip 3) that I was perfectly content with up until a couple of days ago is driving me crazy! I can't wait to get rid of it!

I did on Wednesday the 26th. Trading my Flip 3 for $700. Besides that, I registered my desire back on July 7 which was another $50 credit. All told, $263. couldn't pass that up.
