I owned the G2, G3 and now the G4. I'm looking forward to being wowed again but the rumored price of $900 is a little over the line.

Honestly, not really. I'm kind of tired out on mobile upgrades. For as nice as the G4 is, it isn't really that much of a "real-world" upgrade over the last phone I had (GS5.)

Honestly, the next mobile device I may be interested in is some future variant of the Surface Pro with full blown windows. As for phones and traditional tablets, I'm not seeing new gadgets that seem to be much of an improvement over my current gadgets.

Having just bought a Surface 4, I'm interested in the new phones from Microsoft, but will have to wait and see.

I don't know I'm liking this so much I might skip the G5 and wait for G6. Love the leather option as I now have 10 leather backs. If they keep the leather and the curve and add fingerprint scanner and trim the bezels down I might consider.

How much thinner would you want a phone? Enough to slice bread ha ha-ha

The thinness is fine I'm referring to the bezels above, below, and on the sides of the display.

I'm gonna give the G5 a look but I love my G4 so I'm not in a hurry.

I've been interested in every LG flagship since the G2. I'll probably pass on the G5 if battery life isn't much better than G4.

Ive always updated right upon release. I feel like I got burned on the droid turbo, as i didn't do my homework and ended up with a subpar performing camera in my opinion.

That said, I love the g4, and with still another update (Marshmallow) to come, i may wait a while onnthe g5 unless it has something to blow us away (3 day battery, even better (by leaps and bounds) camera, not just a slight update, i may ride out the g4 until the g6. I honestly cant find enough reason to replace it currently when it does all i need, and does it well.

If it's the same size or bigger I'm out. I don't even like the size of the G4 anymore...so done with big phones.

Love my G4 and going to take good care of it until it dies. As my first smartphone, I went all out on the G4 so I could keep it a while before it felt outdated, and now so glad I bought it when I did as Verizon got rid of subsidized phones (I paid $100 after rebate, with Two Year contract, back in July), and couldn't afford to pay retail or the now $23.00 monthly fee that ends up at retail over the Two Year contract. There are cheaper phones out there, and that's what I'd be looking at if I were doing it now. I'd probably not upgrade anyways as the G4 does everything I need and more, but the non-subsidized change makes it absolute necessity. The G5 is out of the question for me, but not for the same reasons most of you have.

Even though I habitually grab the latest shiny thing on the market, I was similarly unimpressed with the V10 and am sticking with my G4 for now even thought the knock on feature mysteriously went away. The G5 would need to have some seriously impressive improvements for me to get one especially at the rumored price point. If the G5 doesn't wow me, there are too many other options on the market. Since I have a Windows 10 desktop and a Surface 4 running the same OS, I'm considering Microsofts new devices.

I think the V10 is powerful, but would have liked to see the 810 and not the 808, but it is hideously ugly. :(

I like the 5.7in form factors with phones and might even like a stylus a la the Galaxy Note, but LG does that with its midlevel line and not it's high-end. I would also like to see a less heavy LG UI. I think Motorola has the best of both worlds using vanilla Android with a few USEFUL features added on top.

Same here buddy. Tired of it now. G4 was a little too big (just barely manageable for me). The G3 was the better size.
I'm back on my Nexus 5 now and it feels amazing.

I've read rumors about the G5 being all metal. That and a fingerprint scanner would be a dream... With that said, this will be my last LG. Tired of the ui, the slow updates, and my battery life has been going downhill since I bought it. Another big problem is how fast the value drops on these LGs. After a month or two they drastically reduce the price, and then keep reducing it, offering sales and promotions...I bought mine a little over two months ago and what has happened in that time has astonished me. I couldn't even sell this for what I owe which means I would have to pay to get rid of it! I feel burned by LG and won't be giving them my business again.
