I ordered a Pixel 9 Pro XL in porcelain 256 GB. Trading a Pixel 8 Pro that I'm getting twice as much as I paid for it in trade after the trade I did the 8 Pro. The store credit is definitely a plus.

This is one of my main reasons from Pixel 8 pro fingerprint scanner which is the worse I've used on a phone

Yeah it's great, but personally the fingerprint scanners on the Pixel 8 Pro was a non issue for me.

At least with this, it'll hopefully take away the constant complaints with Pixel fingerprint scanner

You didn't want to use the $760 trade in for the Fold ?

What is that what it says now ? I'll go back now an order another and cancel my first. At 1PM Eastern (10 Pacific) There was no P Fold as trade.

Well, I think I'll probably put my order in with Google for the Porcelain P9Pro this evening. I haven't decided yet on the storage. I'm REALLY hoping that the new fingerprint scanner works ... I haven't been able to use one since my first Pixel, the P2.

Excellent. I think I went in a little bit later and did notice the $760 trade-in along with the $699 trade in for the P8P so you are probably right maybe you went in too early.. I'm happy you reordered.. they were not too far off as I got $800 for mine for the ZF6 with Samsung.. and the $200 store credit is a nice incentive as well..

Personally, 256 GB is a sweet spot. I could probably be fine even with 128 GB lol, but generally go for 256 GB so that I don't worry about storage in general.

Looking at Pixel 8 Pro, I have plenty left

It basically depends on your usage and needs

Obsidian...originally Hazel, but I couldn't find a Hazel case(magnetic). Since I use a case, I went black. I liked the Mous super thin last time.

Although that Google Hazel Pixel case is kind of calling my name.

Yeah, that hazel looks nice but I think with my next device I'll be going back to black too. Like you, mine is always in a case so the color of the device is kinda pointless. I regret getting my 8 Pro in Bay and I won't even rock it in a clear case, so I'll be going with a safe choice of black next time. (Bay looked cool in pics and videos but when I got it in person I thought it looked a little too ... zesty (as Floss would say) LOL)
