Thunderbolt in geek world is one long drawn out saga. Well for me I am getting really tired. I don't care for the politics on phone so please leave that for another thread. The Thunderbolt is great device wait, the price and the coming features it's missing out in my opinion has brought me to breaking point. I know many people can relate.

Have you been limbo between carriers to get another device?

Have you decide to hold off for something else?

For me the INC is looking pretty nice on 1 year contract right about now!

I've been thinking of getting a Dinc for now also, the wait for the tb is just ridic. VZW is reallllyy irking(?) me, no scratch that, pissing me off with the whole DL (down low) with the info on TB! Therefore if it seriously does not come out within the next week or two they have lost a new customer that was willing to sign with them...-.-

I was really more interested in this one for my father than for myself. 32GB MicroSD card included, plus 8GB onboard for file storage? My dad is a music maniac, and filled up multiple MicroSD cards with music when I showed him that his enV Touch doubled as an MP3 player. (He was laughing at the tiny iPod nano that my sister bought him for his birthday. 8GB? That's not enough for his entire collection!) As long as it's out by the time his contract is up (I think April), I'm happy. He, honestly, doesn't know about the delays.

Sorry did not think it entirely through and is my first time posting a poll. AC should have edit and reset poll option*WINK*WINK* This was a poor attempt to stop my compulsive reaction to get new phone as my G1 has been dead for three weeks. However I don't want to put any money into getting it fixed.

Still treading on......But a lot depends on VZW's 4G plans since it's becoming an almost certainty that Bolt users are going to be required to sign up for an LTE data plan to use this device. :-\

Was waiting for the Thunderbolt, and willing to consider $249 - $299 price, until I discovered virtually the same phone from AT&T - HTC Inspire 4G for $99... then on February 28th, the local AT&T store manager gave me 50% off - end of the month special. Got 2 phones (family plan) for $100 total as opposed to $500 to $600 from VZ. Love that Inspire 4G phone!

P.S. - I switched to AT&T from T-Mobile, had the original G1.

The Inspire would be the unquestioned best Android phone @ AT&T if it weren't for it's low volume and speakerphone issues.Too bad the Inspire's not coming out for Verizon, especially at the $99 pricepoint.

I bought a Dinc a couple days ago. I couldn't wait any longer...

It's an awesome phone.

Yes, but I will get a Bolt whenever it comes out, even if I have to use my annual upgrade thus forfeiting my $50 NE2 credit that I will be eligible for in September. That's what I am thinking and, Gawd, I hope I have enough self restraint not to do that and wait patiently till September.
