Whose returning the 16 for the 32?

Anyone else doing this or contemplating doing this? For 40.00 more having the extra storage doesn't hurt. I was going to do this today, was even at the best buy but talked myself out of it. Wish I didn't because now the only best buy who has a 32 is over an hour away. How long do we have with best buy to return it?

I'm just curious but what compelled you to purchase the 16GB version and not the 32GB version the first time?

I thought about it but decided to keep the 16 because so far it has been flawless.

I am sure the 2013 model will get the On The Go to gain access to a USB. So I will use that if I need more space.

I almost never play games on my tablet and the only movies I watch are Netflix so I don't have to worry about storage. Everything else I do is read magazines and surf the web which the 16 is more than adequate for.

I'm just the opposite with my tablet. I use it exclusively for games, movies, books, and a lot of other apps. It allows me to keep my Nexus 4 light.

If you don't travel a lot, and I mean, you're going to be gone for days or weeks, then you shouldn't need a 32GB model. I think a lot of people buy far more storage than they ever use or need. I see people buy 1TB drives all the time, but only use at most, 200GB. of course, it's nice to have a few GB of a buffer to keep things speedy, BUT that only matters if you're WRITING data, not reading it. The only reason why the original nexus 7 had this problem was because it didn't do fstrim very well. the new nexus 7 has an entirely different storage hardware. in fact, the read speeds on it are about 3-5x faster now @ 58MB/s. considering the nexus 7 is no replacement for a pc's ability to do heavy work, I really can't see the justification of having 32GB except for business purposes. being a little mindful of what you keep on your tablet, and how long you keep it on there, should make 16GB be more than enough. you can always stream files from your main PC at home as well.

I'd do it. It's $40. That's not even remotely close to an amount that should bother you. You already spent over $200 for a gadget you could easily do without at all, so what's $40?

I did but i have the a lingering guilt that i should have purchased it from google due to their advance warranty replacement program (nexus 4 was bought from their though). I guess excitement always gets the better of me, but needless to say I absolutely love this thing, smooth as butter. Yea the 32gb is a no brainer for added piece of mind (bought 16gb before). Luckily this wasn't ios where they have lots of great games I would like to play, then i would need even more. Keeping all google though.
