Imo why do people keep saying "If it didnt have the keyboard I would get it" That makes no sense to me. You can choose never to use the keyboard its has 4 options to use for text entry. Thats like you takeing your car back cause it has too many options.."I have to take this truck back cause it beeps when I back up" or "I dont like to have cruise crontrol because I can push the gas pedal myself so why would I use it" A lot of things we use in our lifes have many options that you dont even need or use but you still buy it. In the end dont buy for the reason you dont like the UI or the size or the design or maybe the service. But not because of an option you dont have to use.

Just My Thoughts

I think it has to do with the added bulk and thickness. Personally, I like hardware keyboards, as long as it's a really good one. This one looks like it is.

I love how everyone talks about it making the Epic heavier when comparing it to the Evo, when it's still lighter than the Evo!

I went and played with a display one...and tbh, I thought my htc touch pro 2 had one of the best physical keyboard to date ...the Samsung does just as well, with prob about a week to acclimate to it's slightly diff layout compared to the TP2

I will miss the tilting option after slide out that the TP2 offers...but that led to ribbon disconnects and prob some extra heft for hinge options internally.

Bring on the EPIC.

I'm glad to hear the keyboard has a nice feel. My question is how is it with one handed operation? Having landscape keyboards in the past I found it difficult to type with only one hand.

My guess is that it will be too big for one-handed operation. And I totally agree about the TP2 keyboard. Man that things was nice.
