Why am I getting all of these pop up advertisements

I can't play my games or watch YouTube without having full screen pop ups

Have you installed any new apps or updated any existing recently? This is usually the cause, an app added a new ad function that is becoming intrusive.

Does it happen in safe mode? Hold the power button as if you're going to shut down and select safe mode from the menu (if it's there). You don't say what device so we can find more direct info for that device.
