Why am I getting an echo/feedback with my Note 4

I have been searching and searching for help with this issue, but so far I can't find anyone with the same issues that I am having.

I have found complaints about the receiver getting an echo, no one seems to be experiencing this on the caller's end (that would be me). This has become so annoying and I don't know if my phone is defective? Or???

In any case this problem renders my phone pretty useless. Oh sure I can text, surf, read, blah, blah blah, but call? Nope not without considering taking a tranquilizer to keep from flinging my phone into the next room.

I would be so grateful if I can get an answer. TIA

It can be one of two things - a problem at the tower or a problem in the phone. Since the phone is still under warranty, my first stop would be the carrier's place of repair. (Make sure everything is backed up - if it's a bad phone they may just replace it.)
