Why am I getting the error message unfortunately, settings has stopped?

i bought micromax a106 mobile two months back, aftet one month it shows pop msg like unfortunatly launcher 3 has stopped, bt i didnt got any problem. , now When i opened settings and clicked on about phone, it showing error message called - "unfortunatly, settings has stopped" and it closes the settings , please solve this problem for not to occuring.

It could be a number of things - one of which is a memory chip that's gone bad. If the phone is 2 months old it's under warranty. Have it replaced. (You'll get a refurb, but you don't have a new phone now, so that's not a problem. And refurbs usually get a lot more checking out than new phones do before they're shipped.)
