Why am I not able to change the size of apps when using split screen mode on s7 edge?

I have used split screen mode for the past 3 months, and last week, the bubble on top of the most recent app used to change how much screen the app takes up has disappeared. Whenever I use split screen mode, I am stuck with both apps sharing half of my screen, with no way to adjust it. Is there any way to get the drag bubble back? Thanks in advance

No, with nougat it's androids own split screen view which doesn't have custom sizing

You cannot change the size in landscape but you can in portrait.

If you swipe from the top left corner you can adjust both in landscape mode. Just not as easy as before Google's version messed it up.

Simply dragging the deviding line between the open windows changes the size in both landscape and portrait view in Nougat....
