Wifi Connection issue

Hi! I'm new to Android and decided to go with the Tab S. I've had it for a few month now and had been working properly til a couple of days ago when it did some king of update while I was away from home. Now it won't let me connect to my home's WiFi network. I enter the WEP code, then it says "obtaining IP address, and it then disconnects. It won't let me forget the network from the device. I've already tried rebooting the router, disabling the MAC filter, rebooting the tablet, changing the SSID of my network... The last thing I would like to try is a Factory Reset... Connecting to other networks is not an issue... it is just my home network that won't work. Any ideas? Much appreciated.:-[

Re: Wifi Connection issue

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have to use WEP? Can you change the router security to WPA or WPA2, which is generally recommended over WEP? If the update that got pushed to the tablet was some Samsung security update, then maybe it messed up the WEP connection protocol.
