Why am I not able to restart my MOTO G2?

not able to restart cell phone MOTO G2

I m using Moto G2.Last night when i went to bed my battery was 40% but when I woke up in the morning I found my cell switched off after that I connect the charger & screen start blinking showing battry 0%.I kept it more than 1hr on charging but it shows 0% and I m not able to restart the cell?

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge on a wall outlet undisturbed for 4-6 hours, then try powering on again.

As a general rule, don't let a battery drain to zero or near zero on a regular basis. That will decrease the overall lifespan of the battery. Ideally, start recharging at 30-40%.
