Why am I not able to transfer photos from Samsung S6 Edge to my Macbook?

Im not able to transfer photos from samsung s6 edge to macbook

Have tried installing airdroid, kies but it dosent work. Please help me with transferring the pictures.

Welcome to the forums. I am not familiar with Macs/Android. However, do you have an account with a cloud server, like Google Drive or Box? You can upload the pictures there and at least they are backed up.
