Why am i not allowed to create new folder tabs?

Every time I try to create a new email file, it keeps saying failed to create. How do i fix that?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Email app? Which email provider are you using, and do you know if it's an IMAP or POP3 account? See here for more info: IMAP vs POP3
