Why am I only seeing blue light on my Android TV, box and its not being detected on my TV?

[Android Central Question]

I was trying to reboot my android tv box (T95M) and I had a microSIM in it. It failed to reboot. Now all I see is the blue light and the TV does not detect the box. The box had been working previously.

Try removing the SD card (with the power off) then turning the box on again. (If the SD card went bad, the box could be stuck forever - until you remove the card.)

Welcome to Android Central! How old is the box? These off-brand direct-from-China boxes are notoriously buggy, with poor quality control, so it's likely that either the firmware is corrupt or the hardware is failing. You can try contacting the manufacturer or seller for support, but I wouldn't be very optimistic about that.

In the future, I would suggest getting a Google TV Streamer instead (or Walmart's similar Onn. Android TV device). They're quite inexpensive and a lot more reliable.
