Why Am I Still Getting Notification Sounds And How Do I Turn Them Off?

I searched ways to turn off Facebook notification sounds, I have switched everything off (notification sounds in phone settings, push notifications off in Facebook notifications settings, "sounds in the app" off in Facebook media and contacts settings), but I still get that stupid bloopy noise for every notification that comes through Facebook. The only thing that works is muting it, but I can only select up to eight hours at a time. It's really annoying and I may throw my phone at the wall. Not to mention I'm also getting email, Wish, Instagram, etc. notifications even though, like I said, my phone notifications are set to silent. Please help. ><
