Why am I unable to hear the other person on the call while talking?

Not able to hear the other person on the call while talking.

I have Samsung Galaxy S5.

Sometimes during the call I am not able to hear the other person in between the call. I need to end the call and call him back again.

This is not happening always but often I am facing the issue. And during important meetings I am loosing track of the conversation in between as I need to disconnect and connect to the meeting again.

Anyone else facing the same issue

Welcome to Android Central! Which carrier? Have you discussed the issue with them?

Does this happen on speakerphone or wired/Bluetooth headphones as well?

I have the same problem and I think its due to the upgrade to lollipop. When this happens, I put the call on hold and then resume again and magically you can start hearing the caller

Same. Overall I just restarted my phone and that solved my issue. But also check with your carrier to see if any cell towers are under repair or have some issues.
