Unable to Open an Account on my Nexus 10

I have had my Nexus 10 for 4 years without problems until now! Recently I have had difficulty downloading my Daily newspaper which I was unable to resolve despite repeated visits to the publishers helpline. In desperation I deleted my 3 email accounts on the Tablet and for unknown reason it solved the problem. However, when I came to restore my email accounts I am only able to open a connection with the server with my Google account and both gmail and talktalk fail repeatedly when previously they worked perfectly. All usernames, passwords and port settings are correct and my ISP cannot resolve the problem. I have Android version 5.1.1 build number LMY49F, a fibre optic connection download speed 27mps and all email address work perfectly on my laptop. Any advice would be much appreciated.

If they automatically connected and setup the first time it's odd that they wouldn't again but the fact that you were having difficulties before uninstalling them may indicate a change, possibly in the server settings. Maybe not enough to completely disable it but enough. Try Google the settings for setting it up and inputting the settings manually. If you're having issues others are too and someone has likely figured out the settings and posted them somewhere. While I'm not one for change and the while why fix something that's not broken but you may also try a new app.
