Why apps on Samsung SM-J100Y phone keep launching themselves frequently?

[Android Central Question]

Apps on my phone are launching themselves randomly and frequently on home & locked screens without me tapping them. I removed some unwanted apps to regain more space but didn't solve. So I reseted to factory setting and still problem exists. (Tip: The phone has dropped several times and has screen cracks). Please I need advice and help on how to fix it. Thanks for assistance.

Are you saying they are loading and showing up on the display as if you opened them, or are you saying you see them in your memory stats as running in the background?
