Why are all the videos taken on my HTC One all too large to share?

why are all videos taken on my HTC one all too large to share?

even when I trim them , they are still to large too attach. so why do i get options to share them if they video camera makes them to large to share ? too large for e-mail,messages, text? even after I trimmed them to under 1o seconds!!

Text attachments are limited to 1MB. eMail attachments are limited to 25MB. Sharing is based on the file's extension, not its size, because maximum allowable sizes can change (and different providers and carriers have different limits even now).

If you want to share a video, don't trim it, just put it up on a file sharing site and text or email a link to it. (I've downloaded files over 3GB from MEGA, so it should be able to handle any video you want to share and a minimum account. You get 50GB of storage for free.)
